The reservoir Vogršček
The lake Vogršček is approximately 4km long reservoir situated near Šempas. It was made in 1988 for the needs of irrigation of the valley Vipavska dolina and for protection from the high waters.Due to excellent conditions (higher temperatures) and constant putting in of fish the lake is full of large and feisty fish:carps, pikes and tenches. You can find the lake on the left side of the highway Ajdovščina-Nova Gorica.
All of you ,who want to test your fishing skills in beautiful nature and in company of friendly locals, are most welcome.
POSSIBILITY OF FISHING: common bream, common carp, european chub, gibel carp, grass carp, perch, pike, tench, zander
TYPE OF FISHING: boat angling, bottom fishing, float fishing, spin fishing
ALLOWED BAITS artificial baits, baits of animal origin, baits of plant origin
Parking & Position
CARPFISHING RULS:
Allowed baits: artificial baits, bread, baits of animal origin (except animal blood and live baits), baits of plant origin
Fishing area: on positions marked on the map
Type of fishing: bottom fishing, with two rods.
The use of boats is allowed.
Mandatory equipment: dehooker, antiseptic and hand net with the longest side of 100 cm.
Allowed catch: Catch and release
Restrictions:
Fishing in the bay is not allowed.
It is not allowed to use double or triple hooks
In case that a home fisherman is allready fishing on the opposite bank of the lake, the related spot in the area is considered as taken. The fishing on that location will be possible, when the spot on the opposite bank is free again (except in the case of an agreement between fishermen).

Fishing area: on positions marked on the map, with boat on the entire surface of the lake
Type of fishing: boat angling, bottom fishing, float fishing, spin fishing, with one rod

Allowed catch: Catch and release, Catch and take
Fishhing for: pike, black bass, zander, catfish
Restrictions:
Fishing in the bays is not allowed.
It is not allowed to use double or triple hooks
While fishing the fisherman has to have the cought fishes with him.
It is not allowed to use animal blood or live fish as a hook bait.

The RD Renče is young fishing family which began its independent journey anew in 2000; it manages all the fishing enivronment of Renče which includes the river Vipava (with tributaries) from the dam in Kasovlje (near settlement Potoče) to the state border with Italy and the reservoir Vogršček. The fishing environment runs through five municipalities and the members of the family come from all over Slovenia united by rich recreative fishing and beautiful nature surrounding the river Vipava and the reservoir Vogršček.
